Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment Specialist

Major Responsibilities: CPST Case Managers strongly support clients in successfully integrating within their community. The successful CPST provides intensive case management services including facilitating linkage between the agency and other community services and providers, and is an integral member of client centered treatment teams, ensuring effective and comprehensive Case Management CPST service delivery.  This is a wonderful opportunity to develop lasting relationships and have a positive impact with these intensive clients.

Vocational Rehabilitation Coordinator

Major Responsibilities:  Recovery Resources is seeking a qualified candidate for the VRP3 program.  The Coordinator will assist clients with behavioral health issues in accessing vocational and support services through the Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation (BVR) and Opportunities For Ohioans With Disabilities (OOD) vendor agencies.    

Responsibilities include determining eligibility for BVR services and authorizing services for clients.  The Vocational Coordinator conducts assessments; provides referrals; determines the needs of eligible persons; develops vocational rehabilitation plans; counsels eligible people with disabilities toward employment in mutually agreed upon vocational goals based on an assessment of interest, values, capabilities, and vocational impairments. 

The Coordinator also consults with other professionals concerning consumer needs/issues; counsels people with disabilities and their families concerning disability and self-awareness; and assists people with disabilities to gain insight into perceptions, emotions and behaviors which have vocational relevance.

The successful candidate will possess an aptitude for business and social work.

Qualifications:  Education: Individuals providing case management services shall possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field (i.e. rehabilitation counseling, counseling, social work, psychology, sociology, special education, speech and hearing, or rehabilitation teaching). Individuals with degrees in fields that are not listed in this paragraph shall only be allowed with prior written approval from OOD.

Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES)

Are you trained in public health? Can you build bridges and relationships to develop a community presence? Do you have experience in helping to transform social norms? Recovery Resources is seeking a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) who can leverage public health theories and practices in the development of a robust social norms approach, awareness and addiction prevention program.

Major Responsibilities: Our ideal candidate will assess individual and community needs and risks in relation to problem gambling behaviors, and will develop and deliver robust education strategies, interventions and programs to address these gaps.  In addition, this candidate will be responsible for serving as a public health resource for the agency; advocating for policy and legislative change that supports awareness of problem gambling behaviors; creating and implementing social norms campaigns around gambling; and building relationships in our problem gambling prevention efforts.  This team member is a key partner in ensuring that grant and regulatory requirements are met, maintains accurate and up-to-date data for analysis, and ensures that program content is current and relative to the latest research around gambling treatment, prevention and education.

Qualified Candidates: Must be a Certified Health Education Specialist with a degree in public health or a related field, at least 2 years experience providing public health outreach and education, and the ability to transfer knowledge from the public health sector into a behavioral health/social service environment.  Awareness and knowledge of behavioral health, and/or problem gambling, preferred.

Human Resources Coordinator

Major Responsibilities: Recovery Resources is a large, dynamic and innovative behavioral healthcare organization embarking on a new integrated care model of service delivery to clients suffering from severe and persistent mental illness that will address both their physical and behavioral health care needs.  Many clients have co-occurring substance use/abuse disorders.   We are seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our nursing team and provide direct service to clients in a fast paced environment. Key responsibilities will include: care coordination and consultation, treatment planning, health education, group facilitation, and recovery management.  This position will serve as a primary consultant to CPST staff regarding client’s physical health care needs.

Qualifications: Qualified candidates must possess an LPN.  Physical health experience required, psychiatric experience a plus. Ability to learn quickly and navigate an electronic health record system is an expectation of the position. We are an outpatient facility with work day business hours; no weekend or holiday hours required.

Medical Assistant (MA)

Major Responsibilities: Recovery Resources is a large, dynamic and innovative behavioral healthcare organization embarking on a new integrated care model of service delivery to clients suffering from severe and persistent mental illness that will address both their physical and behavioral health care needs.  Many clients have co-occurring substance use/abuse disorders.   We are seeking Full-Time Medical Assistants to provide client screening and care prior to a medical appointment, including collection of basic vitals, presenting complaints, and health history information.  The successful Medical Assistant is an engaging and dynamic problem solver, and the first point of contact for clients in the Integrated Care clinic. Ideal candidates will have excellent interpersonal skills that will facilitate creating a warm and inviting experience for the client, and be able to operate proactively to improve the client’s experience within the agency.  The Medical Assistant will have strong administrative skills and be responsible for scheduling client appointments, assisting with documentation where required, and managing the flow of clients in the Integrated Care Clinic to ensure timely appointments and efficient scheduling.  This position also assists clients with determining resources for medications and obtaining and maintaining free pharmaceuticals through various patient assistance programs as needed.

Qualifications: Qualified candidates must possess high school diploma or GED, excellent oral and written communication skills, and strong computer skills.  1 – 3 years of Medical Assistant experience preferred.  Value Added: MA certification, bi-lingual (Spanish).
