An Evening Celebrating the Circle of Strength

The Circle of Strength giving club was founded by Recovery Resources’ Board Member Tracey Collins in 2014. Today, the Circle continues to grow and welcomes Sheila Beck, Reneé Holcomb Hardwick, Alison Klocker, and Katie O’Toole Smith as Founding Members. The Circle of Strength engages women philanthropists who believe in the mission of Recovery Resources and want to support the organization with time, talent and treasure. When women use their energy and financial resources, they have the ability to inspire and transform lives for those in need. Each year Circle members will gather at the Circle of Strength Summit, where new funding ideas will be presented for support. 2015 Project: Women’s Recovery House Nine women in treatment will move into the Recovery House in Ohio City this spring. The Recovery House will provide a safe, comfortable environment with the support, guidance, nurturing and structure necessary for transition from addiction treatment to a true sober independent life. Circle of Strength members will have the opportunity to support this project throughout the year with their philanthropic gift, as well as mentoring in areas such as job skills, assisting with interview techniques, providing clothing, and more.
