Training: Attending to Counselor Development within the Clinical Supervision Relationship

We will cover models of clinical supervision with a focus on counselor development.  We will include practice and application of supervision and learning models to enhance supervisee development.

Learning Objectives:

• Participants will become familiar with different models of clinical supervision.
• Participants will become familiar with the impact of individual differences and learning styles on the clinical supervision relationship.
• Participants will become familiar with typical counselor development.
• Participants will become aware of the relational dynamics present in the supervision relationship and how the relationship develops over time.
