The purpose of the Annual Meeting is to honor a Helen K. Jones Woman of Strength Award. The Woman of Strength Award was created in 2009 to honor the life of Helen Jones, former president of Recovery Resources.

This event is held in May of each year to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month and offers a luncheon, introduction of new board members and program.  Recovery Resources began honoring community members with this award in 2009 and holding an annual meeting luncheon since.
