Peer support services are provided through the Warmline program; a peer-support phone line that is available to all adult mental health and alcohol and other drug addictions consumers in Cuyahoga County. The Peer Support Workers who staff the Warmline are trained to provide emotional support to callers, to make appropriate referrals, and to refer to Crisis Intervention service providers, when appropriate.
Philosophy and Goal

Self-Help/Peer Support
Self-help/peer support service means individual or group interactions conducted by persons receiving services, persons who have received services, or their families or significant others, for the purpose of providing emotional support and understanding, sharing experiences in coping with problems, and developing a network of people that provides on-going support outside the formal mental health and alcohol and other drug addictions service system.
