Community Challenge is a Community based, non-profit organization formed in 1985 to address the most serious problem facing youth today – the use of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs. During the past 25 years, Community Challenge has developed a program of services based on the concepts of awareness, prevention and early intervention. It has long been proven that prevention programs are effective, especially when offered to teens and families in both school and community settings.
Over the years, we have partnered with parents, local governments, businesses, schools and hospitals to offer comprehensive prevention programming that responds to our community’s needs. With programs like Eduvention (for first-time offenders), Parent Education, and Student Assistance at the middle and high school levels, trained counselors and prevention specialists foster meaningful dialogue and direction that impact young lives. Community Challenge is a contract provider of the Alcohol, Drug Addiction & Mental Health Services Board of Cuyahoga County and the Rocky River City School District.
