In observance of Recovery Month? (September) Recovery Resources held it's 5th Annual Run for Recovery and launched “Stories of Loss, Hope & Recovery” campaign. This Campaign was designed to represent, remember and honor those who have lost their life to addiction and recognize those who are in recovery and are learning how to live a life of sobriety.The goal of Stories of Loss, Hope & Recovery in CLE is to help the public make sense of the often-confusing time surrounding drug addiction. This campaign is our part of our commitment to being part of our community’s solution to this crisis.” Leading up to the run, definitions and statistics were posted on Recovery Resources’ Twitter and Facebook pages. This online resource will was designed to help the community discern fact from fiction about drug addiction, including the use of opiates. If you’ve lost we loved one to addiction or know someone in recovery, or you are in recovery and willing to share, please post a photo on Recovery Resources Facebook page and a few lines about them below, or send to acampisi@recres.org.

In support of Mental Health Awareness Month, Judge Deena R. Calabrese from the Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court & MHDD docket shares her thoughts on Mental Health court and the importance of our client art exhibit.

The exhibit will be open to the public May 1-May 31st in the Justice Center Lobby.

We caught up with Agency Clinician Ken Holt, and Team Lead Michelle Lasky who works at the Euclid Jail to get their insight on what it’s like to be a social worker at Recovery Resources.
