Recovery Resources treats the whole person: body, mind, and spirit. we devote our resources to educate people about alcoholism, drug addiction and mental illness, and provide the tools and support systems that lead to healthy and productive lives. In addition, we work to overcome the stigmas of such diseases in society and the workplace through educational and outreach programs.
Our full range of services includes:
Assessment:
Confidential consultation designed to identify the nature of a person's
problem and develop steps required for them to begin recovery.
Counseling:
One-on-one confidential counseling with skilled professionals who help
individuals better understand their feelings and ways to change their
behavior.
Professional Interventions:
A dynamic meeting during which friends and family members, with the assistance of
a trained counselor, contront a person with an alcohol, drug or other addiction
and encourage them to seek help.
Home-Based Family Interventions:
Services provided in the home that help family members develop communication and
conflict-resolution skills, which focus on keeping the family together.
Intensive Outpatient Treatment:
A series of structured group sessions to address alcohol, drug or other addictions
that adversely affect daily life. These include day programs for individuals who
suffer from chronic and severe emotional problems.
Medical Services:
Psychiatric services from a physician for people with serious emotional problems,
such as anxiety or depression, who might benefit from prescription medicine.
Employee Assistance:
A variety of programs and tools - including those focused on education, prevention,
treatment and training - for companies and organizations committed to promoting
healthy lifestyles among employees and their families.
Prevention:
Educational activities for individuals and groups that help people recognize the
warning signs of alcohol and drug problems.
Information and Referral:
Access to information and community resources that help meet the special needs
of individuals and their families.
Community Support Services:
